The fifth-graders at Mills Pond Elementary School in the Smithtown Central School District worked to brighten the day for residents at St. James Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center on Dec. 19.
The classes walked to the facility from their school to spread holiday cheer with their Christmas carols. The students marched up and down the halls singing some of the holiday classic tunes. They delivered handmade greeting cards and ornaments to help spread holiday spirit to the residents.
